So battery died overnight - not even enough juice to open the boot to plug the c tech in (which is also
in the boot )

Is there an emergency release ?

What car have you got?

My Ghibli has a + and - terminal under the bonnet for just such occurances...

I think you have a GT. Under the passenger side rear seat there is a ring to pull which manually releases the boot. It may be stiff.

Sorry - it’s a 2010 Granturismo
Whilst panicking and listening to the alarm going off I searched YouTube
and found this.

There is a manual release under the passenger side rear seat. Simple loop of wire
a pain to find but easier when you know it’s acually there !!

Anyway - all sorted and battery on charge

So that leads to the question: where is the manual release on a 2 seater Strad???

I would hazard a guess that you have to unscrew the carpet bench seat.
