.......should be banned from car shows!
have just spent the last 2 hours buffing out little accidental scratches on marci from the show on sunday guessing from people leaning against the rear wing and door trying to look in. I admit they are barely visible (to fiona and everyone else it seems) but to me they looked like the grand canyon when I washed her on sunday when I got back!
there is a real risk I could become just a little obsessed here..........just a little bit:saifi3:

I'm hoping not to slide down that abyss...can imagine myself spending far too many hours doing just that...

interestingly I think scratches/chips show up less on silver cars............still, always room for a little healthy obsession in life I think:unsure:
how's doris?

Doris is still with the Autoshield guys. They are fettling the F1 pump electronics to try to make it bullet-proof (well, that would be nice...) and hopefully tidy up the nose after the indicator popped out and beat her up last time at Llandow. Should be back with me by the end of next week.

That "bloody car" (Ms. CB speaking there) had better start giving me some quality time after this latest pampering!

Goes with the territory. I can spend happy hours getting mine back in sparkly nick. This weekend was trying to get a decent deep shine on the bonnet. Proving tricky. The rest of the car is far shinier. Machine polishing may be the answer.

See! You were right. But it's not an obsession, just a harmless hobby. I could give it up any time. Any time at all. Just not now.

Could not agree more, had a similar experience at BIAMF and for this reason I won't be going again.

I think you just got mure people peering in trying to see just how green she was! ;) Very annoying though, and hopefully you got them buffed out, as once we did get some sun the green looked stunning.

It was attracting so much attention not because of the colour just the fact that the closest they got to a 3200 before was when it passed on the back of the AA truck! lol

Sorry pal...payback for Rover lights taunt! haha

Sure it wont be the last I hear on it though! ;-)
