GT adaptive headlights

Hi all,

Just had my 08 GT’s front bumper resprayed, all good.
Start the car “adaptive headlight failure” with a constant flashing warning light. Driving at night you can tell they’re clearly working which was confirmed by turning the wheel in my garage.

Took to my local garage and they couldn’t see anything obvious and have said they have no idea how much to fix as it’s all exploritary work.. has anyone got any ideas of where to look or had similar issues? I’m thinking it’ll be a nicked cable?

To make matters worse the paintshop are denying all accountability

I suspect if the bumper has been off that the lights have been unplugged and then the engine started giving the ECU a fail code.

An SD3 may be required to reset the error code.

They did attempt to clear the code whilst it was in, I think.. it's going back to the garage later this week. Fingers crossed it is just a reset, otherwise it's going to be costly.

Update;

Attempted to clear code once again, wouldn't work. Bumper off and investigation work didn't show anything obvious wrong.
The computer should apparently show a number between 1-3 for granturismo's but was showing 0 for mine.

They're stumped as to what it could be, the mechanic sort of suggested that maybe due to me fitting lowering springs it may have "upset" the leveling of them?
