LE officially was a package as of March 2006 I believe. Same as the one I've listed as LE specification as it has all the options, just not named an LE.
Looks like a good one in the photos.

It's a consequence of hindsight I guess. The addition of those two little letters now add perceived value, but there must have been numerous examples with all, if not more of the options within the package before the package was released. Dicky's right to describe these examples as LE spec, with those later cars that do have the LE package on the build sheet listed as LE.

Arguably the pre-LE cars with LE spec are at least as valuable - the cost of all of those options was considerably higher than the LE package cost.

To be honest it wouldn't bother me if the car I bought was an LE or not...I know some would only want an LE......Plus a 2005 cars road tax is £270 against £475 for a 2006....FOr me that makes a difference as I would prefer the extra £200 in my pocket and not the Government......Thats just me though.

Andy I am with you on this one. That is a lovely spec just a shame about the mileage its rather on the high side. Bung on another 10-15k over the next 2 years and your well into the 70's and that affects the value massively in my book.

But just think of the fun someone's having driving it out there. Plus they were designed and built to be driven and we all know they are good for the mileage.

I'm a bit gutted this car has come up now, if i had come up when i get back from Asia at the end of March i'd have bought it (and still will if for some strange reason it's available and checks out ok) but at the minute even with some serious man maths i just can't justify it ahead of what will be quite an expensive trip
