Also brought back memories of Oulton Park in the 80's when I had the fortune of Chris Goodwin being my instructor for the day on a Formula First drive. Being taken round in an XR3i with Mr Goodwin at the wheel. Still remember his words on track placement ....

Seen the vid last night, great review and simply fantastic car, makes a Veyron look prehistoric.Fantastic advert for British engineering and good going for only their 3rd/4th road car, bet they wish they'd made a few more now.

Goodwin is such a laid back nice guy it seems. Harris' videos are getting better and better and make the likes of TG and 5th Gear very dull indeed. I didn't like the whole "This is a whole new thing" well yes it's new in some respects but it is a fast car. What he should have said is that it sets a new bar or is a "Game Changer" for Hyper-Cars as we know them. The makes the Porsche 918 look pretty slow and old tech already and who knows what the new Ferrari will bring to the table but from what the video shows of the P1 I think it will take sometime for anyone to come along and trump it!
