Great morning at Autofficina

Went to Autofficina to get my leaky windscreen washer bottle looked at and wet carpet.

Phoned up previously and was told to turn up whenever. Arrived and the car was straight in and being looked at. A bit over an hour later and the A/C vent had been checked, the drains cleared, wheel off and a fault found in the windscreen washer bottle and filler neck .

Was supplied with coffee, lots of fellow petrol heads to chat to and so much car p*orn it was unreal: 360s, 355s, Testarossa, QP, 328s, 348s, 550, 458, Lambo Murciealago, ... and generally more than one of each.

Great friendly atmosphere, I think I might head down there on another Saturday!

Was that silver 4200 there they have for sale? Face lift one but with 70k on the clocks?

Almost tempted at that price...if it was there how wat the paint on the front as its bound to be a motorway use car.

It's still on the web site Pete..............It's being sold for a customer as I understand it from someone who went ot see it...No warrenty given...Cheap car though Pete and had a clutch recently as I understand it...

Quite sure I saw it parked behind a convertible Ferrari. It looked nice.

If I were you I'd give them a ring to find out if its a Autofficina car or selling for an owner. Their cars are usually mint. You can also ask for details on paint, they'd be upfront.

I would offer to look at it, but I'm busy for the next few weeks then away for a month.

+ 1 for Autofficina. They just did a big service on my gransport. Very honest, forthright and trustworthy, plus there's always some serious eye candy there- 2 F40s amongst others last time i was in. Also customer service is terrific, i was there today to get the biting point on my clutch adjusted, it was done whilst i waited and they refused to take any money from me. Night and day compared to a london based main dealer who wouldn't even call me back when i tried to book service!
