gransport window drop, need help :(

today i had a bad experience
my driver side door glass drop all the way down, and then i pull out the door car, i try to pushed the glass up and then suddenly a half moon metal piece with ring gear in one side felt off.
i spoke to someone, he told me i need new COMPLETE R.H. DEVICE FOR GLASS LIFT ( http://www.eurospares.co.uk/partTable.asp?M=3&Mo=496&A=2&B=28221&S= ) its number one in the picture.
As u can see in the photo there is a half moon looking with 3 holes, that was snap on my car.
i was wondering any other solution instead of replacing the entire things?
i was thinking to weld it back on, but im not sure because i have pull it out completely
please any suggestion

Hi,

Apols for being a bit late, as you will probably have resolved already.

But for future searches:

Alfa part number is 60667936.

I got brand new one (not official Alfa though) on ebay for £124 . . . you need to use the two rails/channels from the old one though.
