Gransport in Evo

Just read an article in the latest EVO mag about cars which might appreciate in value (or at least not depreciate too much). Notable entries for me were the M3 CSL (which they think will still go up a lot in future) and the Gransport. They reckon the GS probably actually t appreciate, but given it's the last of the line of 3200/4200 variety and a very good car all in all, they reckon prices won't slip much for a good while - so a good bet if you're buying (or keeping).

Cheers,
Ben.

Tell you haven't been on much my friend.....Yep has been talked about...Tell me about the CSL bit...My car is currently up for sale at 32k..I sold for 27k in 2010.....A BMW dealer has two low mile M3 CSL's up for 55k and 59k...!!!!

My E30 M3 Evo sold for 32k a few years back...I sold it for 12k in 1997....

There's a trend here....If I sell a car buy it and sit on it for a while and it will be a winner.

Clarkson has a rep of when he sells he sells low and that car is worth double a few years later.....

The z3 m coupe is the next one....could have had one for 7k and now they 15k.....

Indeed - gone are the days when I could have a trawl over the forum every day or two I'm afraid...

You looking to sell the current M3 any time soon then Andy?! The CSL idea is quite interesting to me, but I already have 3 cars and no more space on the driveway... And while I know it gets a great write up, I simply can't force myself to like the look of any oft he Z3 variants...

Cheers
Ben

I have a list of future classics which I would love to buy, sit in a wooden barn, use occasionally and bring them out in 30 years and they would be worth a shed load!

Alfa GTV Spyder 3.2 V6 Lusso
Audi RS2
Lancia Delta Integrale
Mazda Eunos V-Spec or VR-Limited
Maserati 3200 GT
BMW E30 320 is (S14)

Just to resurrect this older thread; Notice the GS prices seemed to be softening now. ADG have lobbed £2k off their blue one ( The one I wanted) , and another £1500 off their other Med blue one.

I personally thought they were over priced at the time but now closer to realistic...still when mortgage rates go up at the end of this year they will be fewer people in the mood for a pricey V8

I also like the Anniversary blue on Pete....Tha'ts a much better price now....ADG do usually knock the price down over the months if they don't sell......

I wanted the one at £26, had it been that price back in April it would be on my drive now but at £28 it was way over priced.
