Sorry Dave, just teasing!

Yeah I know Jon, not aimed at you at all, it's just frustrating, i know you were jesting, some aren't and if it takes me 10 years to buy another, who cares, I will always take MAF's thoughts with me from Le Mans, you're in the club now, we have a good time, have a drink n laugh, cars a bonus, but doesn't matter, we'd had a few mind, I will own another, but as I've said before, I won't buy for the sake of it, right car, right money, I'm in. I'm hardly a difficult person to deal with, ask Mav, I barely looked at the Golf. Forum member......trust.

Dave the right car will present itself at some point. It could be tomorrow it could be five years from now. In some ways that is the beauty of the beast. Only you will know its the right car. If there were more available or there was a facility to spec a used car then it would be much simpler.

Take your time its your money spend it how you want to.

Circumstances mean i will leave the trident fold shortly but hopefully i will be back at some point and i will still be on the forum in the meantime.

Interior doesnt look as garish (harsh I know) in your photos Dicky..

Edit : One thing I have noticed, in both sets of photos the wheels are straight however the steering wheel is offset left.

I think the interior looks amazing! I really. Like high contrast interiors so that's sort of my thing though.

It's exactly this reason why I stopped posting / commenting on cars. I'll spend my own "hard earned" money in my own time without any help. Plenty of people on here will spend everyone's money willy nilly. I've sent an email with a request for details. I will proceed as I see fit. Im not over fussed with interior, oh dear an excuse not to buy it, perhaps I should Subside to be a lurker instead of an active member.

Hi Steve
I've tried to be as fair as I think I can, and haven't 'dived into the car' but still you feel the need to suggest I had something of an attitude? Quite the opposite especially given you kept me waiting outside the industrial estate for 20 minutes whilst you ran 'errands'. It's OK, I'd only been driving for 4 hours so what's another 20 minutes hey?

It's clear to anyone who actually reads my post that if I wanted to put a downer on the car I could have - ****, I even defended it when someone called it a project car for christs sake.

I'm not here to help you do your job but as a seller of (relatively expensive) cars you really could look at how the whole thing works from a buyers perspective. As someone who oversees a team who sell over £100 million quid worth of kit every year I know how important it is to make it easy for people to spend Money. Happyto share some constructive thoughts by private message if you'd like because I know others have strugggled with similar experiences and despite you now trying to have a pop at me I will help you if I can and you want the assistance?

Ps the doors were open to the unit so we weren't getting gassed and maybe, just maybe you could have offered to take the car outside rather than turning it off seconds after I pointed out the noise?

Pss I don't think anyone really thought the car was in Narnia....?

With best intentions

In your previous post you state that you have bought over 200 cars and then state in this post
" As someone who oversees a team who sell over £100 million quid worth of kit every year" are these statements meant to impress people? it doesnt, it sounds more like your are trying to justify your worth, PM me if anyone would like a copy of a short video taken today of the gransport running (from cold), there is no rattle, there never has been a rattle, the only rattle is in the head of b9boy

Steve, Steve, Steve.

Really?

I've offered an olive branch to try and help you peddle your stuff. By your own admission your stuff isn't selling. You told me you as much and having been through the 'Steve Machine' I think I know why and I've offered to help you. I'm struggling to understand why you wouldn't want the help/advice? Pride can be a cruel mistress.

Ps the dancing Rick video is v funny - I seriously love that scene!!!!

Pss someone please buy this damned car so Steve can move on!!

As a mature adult this is the side of the forum I find distasteful.
All for fun banter and being the butt of the joke.
When people disagree it's best left there as you know there won't be a friendship forming.
I had a incident with an Optician from Swindon selling my first 4200 it's just not worth it.
Over the years Steve has sold a few Maserati so he is an enthusiast as we all are and must be doing something right :)

I agree here boys....enough is enough. Make up make up.....

You obviously aren't going to be best mates forever but being civil and not being detrimental is a value & should be excercised.

Steve is not a bad or unscupulous seller at all. He is a keen enthusiast & has some great cars & just trying to run a small business to make a living just like myself. Don't take the wrong way Steve but he is a character that I can see some may find hard to get on with or bond with. However I got on with Steve fine. We had a chat about things got on fine & the deal and transaction on my QP was smooth & without issue.

I bought my QP from Steve & have been very happy with it. There were no issues with the purchase and all was good. I can understand and empathise on both sides. This GS looks like a decent car to me at a fair price so I'm sure someone will hoover it up soon. The market is tough with Masers as I'm sure you know Steve. Be patient & I'm sure the right punter is not far away. I'd certainly be having a look if I was in the market for a GS.

I do dread the time I come to sell my current Maserati; when I sold my first blue one it was less than 24 hours before the car was ripped apart on the forum by people who had neither seen it or driven it...and boy was it hard to ignore the comments...still thats the 'joy' of forums and social media.

I hope in this case that both parties find what they are looking for.
