Grancabrio top cover not closing properly

I´m having an issue with the top cover of my Grancabrio.

After opening the left latch is not pulling the cover flush with the car body.

It seems the latch is working properly, because when I close the roof again the left side is identical with the right side, so flush.

I will attach pictures for better understanding. (Yes, the car is very dirty:()

Is there something to adjust?

Is the roof going down fully ie. roof stopping the cover latching down properly?
When roof is up it latches fine so it might be something just stopping it.
Can you stop the operation whilst the cover is up to take a look?

I opened the cover manually after opening. Can´t see anything obvious.

Latches look the same on both side and where moveable the same way.

If its the same as the Volvo one it could be the worm screw that pulls it down being stiff...try some lube on that.

This happened to me and the cable for the lock assembly had pulled through the latch (its a bit like a brake cable on a mountain bike), meaning that the one side did not lock down. Just a small bit of plastic had broken, meaning the lock cover mechanism had to be replaced as any repair would very likely fail again quite quickly. This was days before the car was due to go, so @Kiwibrit dodged a bullet, although Eurospares had a decent second hand one in stock which softened the blow for me.
