Just bought a 2015 Ghibli and the satnav is not working. I get no data found when trying to enter any address or choose a POI. I also get the same when trying to view the map version in settings. It's like they are either deleted or corrupted.
I tried putting a USB in the car and choosing the map update option. This created an xml file. I then downloaded Garmin Express and plugged the USB into my laptop. Garmin Express reads the xml file and identifies the satnav model but keeps saying cannot connect when trying to download the maps. I've tried on several networks so it's not a network problem. I understand this maybe down to a corrupt xml file which requires a master reset of the unit but I have no idea how to do that.
Any ideas on what to try next? I've exported the car so taking it back to the dealer is not an option.
