As you may or may not have seen, we have had some new additions to the forum.
Sidebar
Hard to miss, the new sidebar that will encompass new widgets and features. Currently it has 'This weeks to poster' This is calculated on the number of posts a user has posted in a rolling 7 day period. So if you log out one day with 100 posts, then log in 2 days later, your count will be lower, as it is a rolling calculation.
We also have 'Most active threads' This is the most recently replied to 10 threads, regardless of if you were the last person to reply. Its similar to the 'What's New' tab, but does not remove any posts you have viewed or commented on.
If you do not wish to view the sidebar, you have the option of collapsing it by clicking the >> icon to the top right.
Chat
We now have the function to chat, but have identified that it does not integrate well with the forum, as you can sit there all on your own, so we are looking in to changing this so it sits in the Sidebar, so more usable. We are also looking into a way of Pinging someone who is online, so you can invite them to chat.
