Here is my 2005, facelift 4200CC in Nero with beige interior. FSH. Last month the car had a new clutch fitted and its major 31,000 mile service completed.

It's done 30,250 miles from new and comes with a twelve month warranty and eleven month's road tax. I am the third owner and I have had the car since April 2010.

Reason for sale: I've just a bought a 2006 Quattroporte as the family needs a bigger Grand Tourer.

I'm really sorry to have to let her go. But, needs must. She's just not big enough for my family any longer. I needed something with four doors and a boot. So, a Quattroporte is the obvious Maserati for the family.

Don't forget in that price that the car comes with a 12 month Warranty. I've just bought a warranty for the QP from Warrantywise. It cost me over £1500.

Sorry for going OT but companies are now offering a choice in cars as long as their cheap to run.....

One company told me today that if i got the job they will buy me a company car to use if i dont want to use my own so i wanted to know how the 500 twin air is?

The 500 has only done 1300 miles so far. All of it in London traffic, other than the trip from Bournemouth to Barnet on the day that I picked it up. 95% of the time, I've driven her in eco mode - i.e. with the turbo disengaged - and it's averaging a shade under 40mpg.

That's pretty disappointing. But, I'm hoping as the car loosens up, that figure should rise. Having said that, it's the perfect London car. It can park almost anywhere, turns on a dime and is a light and airy place to be. In my opinion, it's the perfect city car. A real hoot too when the turbo's on.

Dem, have a look at a VW Polo Bluemotion. Ryan had the Golf 1.6 TDi with DSG gearbox and that was averaging over 50 in mixed motoring so the Polo should be at least as good and is very well made.

That's pretty disappointing.

Everyone I know who has driven the Twin Air say the claimed MPG figures are away with the fairies. However, they also say the car is an absolute corker to drive. I often rent a Hertz on Demand car club 1.2 500 and it is fun to drive. Fiat still know how to make characterful small cars.

Good luck with the sale Elliot, it looks beautiful.

I am really looking forward to getting the QP on Sunday. But, the 4200 was my first Maserati. She's such a great car and she has made such an impression on me that I honestly can't see myself being without a Masser in my life for the foreseeable future.

I'm trying not to think of leaving her permanently with Nareman at Nuvola. That will be my final drive with her. She's been great to have in my life. But, life moves on.
