Feeling the love...

Finally I had a chance to drive my QP GTS on proper roads on my own. A couple of weeks ago, I had to watch my wife drive it home from the Ti22b in Chepstow which prompted mixed feelings - nice to see her backside for a few hours, but disappointing to keep up in the Defender. Last weekend was another four up trip to Leicestershire, but today all the stars aligned. A set of new tyres this morning - Continentals - and then the aircon fixed for £24. The drive home over the Preselis from Haverfordwest was blissful. I even beat my old Elan’s time home. Proper happy.

The problem now is how to keep said wife away from any posts that say you are happy without her being there :) it's a difficult thing to explain. I've tried a few times!

Good man, these cars thrive on a proper good thrashing. When I get mine back, she’ll be beasted to within an inch of her life and she’ll love it. If you don’t drive them hard, they will show their displeasure with temperamental displays of angst. Trust me, I drive a spyder!

Yes indeed. Perfect 35 minutes. Still, the classic car gods got their own back today as I spent four hours getting the boot to shut properly on the Flaminia. It only worked after I took a big slice off one of my knuckles and was bitten by a horse fly.
