I was on my way to get my car detailed, first time I have used it in a while, next thing I know the front n/s wheel has hit the kerb!! I am mistified as to how I managed it.
A repair of a polished alloy would be about £150, but given the nature of the repair it will almost certainly not match the rear wheel, so the OCD in me means I am crazy enough to go for a replacement plus fitting.
A very expensive lapse, made all the worse by my perfectionist nature pushing me towards a new wheel.
I air this sad story on here in the hope my behaviour is not alone !!
