Hi guys
I noticed a weep from a couple of tiny slits in my plastic expansion tank for the radiator (it is 12 years old) so gummed it up externally whilst I sourced a new one from Eurospares which arrived in Oz today.
The problem is the new tank looks absolutely nothing like the existing one! My first thought was I'd mucked up the order but checking the site again it appears I was correct in that there is only one for the later 3200 and all the 4200 so it should be the same - but isn't as it is even a different shape and I won't get a chance to see my Indie for a couple of weeks to discuss it.
It's possible in the past (pre my ownership) that mine has received a new non-Maserati one but I'm just trying to compare so could I ask anyone who has a 4200 and a couple of minutes spare to take a snappy pic (quality unimportant really!) of their expansion tank and post it for me just so I can compare my old with your one vs the newly-supplied one please?
