As suggested by Hodroyd, we now have 2 members to this exclusive club....hopeing to join myself very soon.

Rules:
  1. Must have a complete exhaust, engine to rear bumper and post a video so members can agree you are a worthy member.
  2. A simple loud exhaust does not cut it, it must be of EPIC proportions.

I remember it well! The guy filming does a lot for the SCD and gets to ride in lots of top end cars and he was absolutely gobsmacked at just how good the 4200 is. Btw, if you are listening on an I-pad, turn the volume up full and hold the speaker about an inch from your ear and that gives a decent approximation of the sound.

Brilliant! I'm delighted to be a founder member of the Epic Exhaust Club! I look forward to welcoming new members - Matt, Hodroyd and hopefully ChrisBassett after the weekend.

Get those videos posted up, chaps!

I want to join too. Though I don't qualify on point one I most definitely qualify on point 2 as Ben will testify :)

You do but, as yet, you don't satisfy requirement 1. At the moment, you are (more than) halfway there so just the cats to go! ;)

I thought there was a difference between an exhaust and an empty metal pipe. Apparently not.

An exhaust is a shaped tube to vent spent gasses in the most expeditious way whilst giving the most aural enjoyment. The more the epic, the more the enjoyment.

I think if I had valved rears I'd consider it. As it stands any increased exhaust volume may result in disgruntled wife and angry neighbours 

Tony - what does your signature say.....?????

Don't get me wrong I absolutely love it. I only work around the corner from where I live so I'm not starting the car up before 8:00 in the morning which is fine for village bliss. However next week Tuesday I have to be in Birkenhead for a meeting which means I'll be leaving at 6:30. I don't think the neighbours would take to kindly to a louder exhaust at that time in the morning. If I had valved rears then I could at least engage stealth mode so sports cats wouldn't be an issue.

I'd love to join but my route into town passes an occasional DVSA roadside check point... I could change my route though :)
