There are two diagrams, the late one shows them near the bulkhead and the other doesn’t show them at all.

There are two pipes from the compressor, one that goes forward to the condenser and the other back to the evaporator, follow the one back and it will be there, somewhere.

Is it not the pipe that doesn't seem to be connected to anything? LHS bulkhead when looking at engine bay, or is that for filling?

It’s under the expansion bottle. I removed liquid from tank using syringe and then undid the retaining bolt for the tank as well as the bracket to inner wing. You can then move tank sufficiently to get onto ac valve

Ha; that's the sort of Italian logic that puts the fuel cap release in the glove box!

Always wondered whether its the same for left hand drive cars , and the other odd thing which a few manufacturers do now is put the windscreen washer bottle behind the plastic inner wings , no chance of checking levels unless its at the very top

But it will have a sensor telling you it's getting low, about 3/4 empty. Its not as bad as the Stelvio oil level checked on the infotainment screen only!

Jaaaaaaag had an electronic dipstick. You had to engine off, wait for something like 20 minutes, then go and check with engine off *sigh*
