Can new style GT headlights (containing logo 2017+?) be fitted to a 2007 car?

Does anyone know if the new style GT headlights (containing logo 2017+?), can be fitted to a 2007 car without modification?

Looking to get a new offside headlight (discussed on other thread) and have seen a pair of new lights available.

Just wondered if they were mechanically and electrically interchangeable.IMG_2875.jpg

Total guess here, but I would imagine so, maybe with a little fiddling. They probably cost a ton though. I am also wondering if they are electric/electronically compatible.

The new ones have DRLs in them so might affect the ability to wire them up but I'm only guessing.

£1800 for a used pair! (as opposed to £1500 for a new single old one.)

Think they're not compatible though now I have re-read the advert!:
"bought for my father-in-law's car, but they don't fit" - so unless he got it really wrong and he has a QP, looks like they do need to be for newer GT.

I suspect the LED DLRLs would cause a numberof issues with the CAMBUS and as they are part of the unit the cconnection block will be different.

I have a post on Maseratilife -- they are mechanically identical. electrically, everything is fine except the LEDs use previously unused pins so they will not light up. you may also get a marker light out error.

someone on that thread had their dealer retrofit, so it can be done. I've also done it, but without the running lights. signals, headlights, marker lights all just work.

ps. LED/logo lights are 2013+
