Boot Switch

Hi all, my boot will not lock closed, switch seems to be stuck in, any ideas on repair or problem?

Same with key, keyfob and glove compartment switch?

The locks can seize quite easily, WD40 usually helps.

Known weak point. You can try levering the switch out with a small knife or similar.
Final fix is to replace.

I've currently got the same issue. If you carefully remove the whole switch body, remove the green lens and you can 'pop' the switches out by placing a little bit of pressure on a small grey shaft that comes out of the back of the switch.
To remedy the sticking issue, a little bit of switch lubricant should be applied to the switch and the plastic shaft of the button and then 'exercise' the switch, i.e push it in and 'pop' is out again. This will allow the lube to coat the pushbutton and it's shaft allowing the spring to push back the button on its own accord.

I'll pop down to the garage later tonight and try to get some photo up later.
