Hi Everyone,

I've been lurking around the forum for some time, and may I first say well done on creating such a place with a wealth of useful knowledge in one place.

I was considering buying a 222 or a Quattroporte IV, because they are understated looking bonkers cars, but eventually Google, (damm you google), led me to considering a 3200GT, a car I remember tracing onto most of my school books instead of actually doing schoolwork. After about 8 months looking I settled on a car and referred back to the know-how listed on here, both before and after purchase.

Shes an AC, manual, Aussie Delivered and was used as the press car for the release of the AC here in OZ, but after a nice journalist thrashing had two owners before myself (do you ever own one or are we all just custodians of greatness?) and the last owner took amazing care of her so I hope to do the same.
Done a few niggly jobs on her so far and now shes all most the way I would like her, neat, tidy, a bit subtle looking but sublime to drive. Shes the first V8 and the first turbo in the garage so I wont lie, the pedal on the right still scares the **** outta me! :b

Anyhow that's that and I hope to contribute to this great forum one way or another, although don't be surprised if its slightly irregular.

Excellent choice of car, recently sold my AC, after over 3 years of virtually hassle, and CEL, free motoring. Enjoy it. Looking forward to the pics ;) what No is it, I think you got 10 there.

I shall figure out my computer and get some piccies for you sometime. But like any picture of curvy stuff, its all ways better in the flesh, :D .
Its number 1, they planned on 10 but the last owner said the Sydney dealer believes there were only ever 6 sold, so who knows really.
Nice to meets you all anyhow.

A big warm welcome Meris and what a great Maserati you have...1 in 10 makes it pretty rare then. Enjoy.

I see you figured out the internet faster than I figured out my computer, yes that would picture be the one! Red and silver, cliché much? I saved all the ad except the photos. I know eft hand drive I thought would be better, you can park outside the pub, get out and walk straight in, but walking round the car does help you work up a beer thirst so right hand drives not all bad. But you are closer to the Nuremburg than Melbourne so I guess you win! Thanks for the warm welcome

Welcome, look forward to seeing more pics.

Had my 3200 GT (lowly non AC) for 3 years now and thoroughly enjoyed it and despite some of the stories it has been very reliable (so far)

Enjoy!
