Doesn't need a rebuild surely. These engines seem capable of galactic miles.

There fantastic engines believe me.. but the heavy pressure manual clutch plays havoc with the crankshaft thrust washer wear.. especially say when the first owner lived in central London!

The owners manual even says put the clutch down before you start the engine.. that's the worst thing you can do!

Looks so much better with smaller number plate in my opinion. This is mine at Salon Prive Saturday. £60 fine though now if you get caught

I’d run with no plate and carry a scuffed/cracked one in the boot and claim you’re waiting for a new one if you get pulled. Same fine and no plate looks even better where small plate is obviously flouting the law.

And contrary to other, the French blue for me looks rubbish. Hides the lines of the car, rare for a reason. Your California blue car is much nicer.
