It was the conclusion of Aston's centenary this W/E in London. They put on a nice show of cars. Not sure what else they did. I know they did a jolly around the country for 4 days, lucky with the weather. Lets hope there's something of at least equal standing awaiting us next year.......

They did make some dogs in the 80's.... but have stepped up to the plate now with better looking cars now. Not sure how reliable they are. My friends Vantage broke down in France last year when one of the roof motors packed up and the car went into limp home mode.

There's a large number of pics of this event over on PH. Still time to see interesting stuff though - this event on 18 August should be great: part of the Shelsley Walsh Hillclimb championships (great location, if you haven't been):

“This weekend also celebrates the centenary of Aston Martin and to celebrate this occasion in conjunction with The Aston Martin Owners Club (AMOC) and Aston Martin Lagonda via Stratstone there will be a display of their current line up of road cars, a timeline parade on the hill as well as a competition class. Ah! I saw a convoy of 6 or 8 Astons, all in battleship grey with a big white spot - presumably for a racing number - tooling up the M20 towards London Saturday afternoon... Wonder whether it was for these festivities.

Just another Vantage. Or is it a DB9, a DBS or a Vanquish? I don't think it's a Rapide because I can't see the back doors. Not much else to go on really.

Rapide just not a fan of...The rest of the range I love......like your original comment that they made some dogs in the 80's.....just like maserati then.
