I hit a (admittedly smaller) bird at 70++ on the Le Mans trip, closer inspection has revealed a bit of a dent in the mesh grille on my GS but thankfully it held in place. It would be nice if the wildlife knew to get out of the way a bit quicker!
Natural selection! ;)

Reminds me of when I hit a fox in my old GTS, I could see its legs scrabbling over the top of the nose cone.

Engage brake...fox flop out on the road, engage 2nd gear.............fecker!

I bought the cheapest new grill, they are different prices you see by model, then took it apart, swapped my chrome outer over on to it and painted it the correct satin black that it should have been as it was gunmetal from memory.

About £275 from memory.

I hit a badger in my Alfasud. They are quite sturdy and it ripped the plastic wheel arch off and popped the bonnet. I got out and gave the ****** a kick to make sure it was dead. Still hate badgers!

The SZ swallowed a badger one night and it took out all the front bumper, next day the specialist rang me to tell me that the apprentices were picking bits of dead badger from the prop shaft and drive train, they get all the good jobs :bad_smelly:

Also if anyone can give guidance on the removal of the grille and air conveyor would really appreciate it, gonna hopefully fit these parts myself
If it is the same as GT I have just done mine. Not too difficult but you need special cross head keys to remove both

I think I still have some of his feathers under my bonnet if you want any more momentoes, Zep..?

Was that when you got banned from joining the local hunt, Matt?
