AROC East Anglia coffee meet , 10am tomorrow

Just came across this and thought i'd pop along for a mosey tomorrow , nice roads across country for me so will be a spirited drive , any one else going or fancy coming , sorry about the short notice but i dont do FB and tech

Apparently £30 to register ...............for a coffee and a bit of back patting and tyre kicking ...........i think not

I get email updates from the East Anglia Group, although I'm in the Essex section and their events tend to be about an hour away.

Surprised it's a pay job, usually free meets if you are a member or it's because you are also getting entry into a museum or something.

Currently the 1966 Giulia has a tempermental starter motor, need to sort that out and go for a blast.

Don't know where you got the £30 from, there was no fee at all.
Probably about a dozen cars. I went for the run out, it was 64 miles there for me and the first trip out this year for the Gransport. Enjoyed the blast.
Yes some tyres were kicked, but had a nice cup of tea and a good chat with a couple of guys that dare involved with the airfield.

Sounds a bit of a poor turn out , not surprised , maybe it was some individual trying to scam .

Definitely a scam, no tickets, just rock up.
For an AROC section meet in East Anglia a dozen is about average. It's a large area so depending where the meet is you get different people turn up.
Pity you didn't make it, would have been interesting to have had a chat.
