Anyone know this 4200 ? It was well advertised..

Looks like it was purchased by a dealer , it was originally up for £11750 ! Advertised on ebay , carandclassic and pistonheads.
I see its missing about 2 yrs of annual service as well , but looks to be well cared for after that blip.

Was thinking about maybe viewing but won't waste my time if its a rotter ..

This was for sale around 2 years ago. Not sure if it sold but it was in classifieds for ages and ages....It then back then got purchased by a dealer up north and was with them for a few months......Not sure what it's like but worth a look and inspection.....The chap was on one of the forums that owned t and I can not remember which one as he was talking about the GS wheels he had put on it and how great condition it was.....THis was just before he sold it mind you.

Know the car. It was a Maserati Forum members car about three years ago who had spent time and money getting it right. He then had it for sale as Andy says with no luck...it then moved to a dealer who told me that it had some paint and the match was not perfect...first honest dealer I had come across at that time.

To be fair its not expensive and the GS wheels are worth a few bucks if you were to want to put original wheels back on which pop up every now and then.

Call Autoshield about the car, they know it, I know some too, one of my customers owned it.

Thanks for the info guys , I might do a bit more digging. Its a bit worrying it was for sale for so long with no takers. I quite like the wheels so would probably keep them , the only other wheel i like is the 7 spoke. Second hand full sets of alloys do seem to be rare !

Definitely speak to Autoshield, they will tell you the truth about the car if they have cared for it. The GS wheels can bring good money if you want to change..!! I know a member who has a full set of new 3200 Assetto Corsa 18" wheels and tyres for sale..!!

So I spoke to someone who knew the car very well (not autoshield) and although they didn't go into details they advised me to avoid the car.... Other forum members would probably be wise to do the same.
