And we thought Maserati servicing was steep?

Not having (or wanting) Facebook I can't even see.
I was going to post a copy of one of my Bentley service bills, with a bit of ACcwork including compressor and drier - £7300 and that was 4 years back. Prices have gone up since then!

The gist of the video was that changing the oil on a Veyron seems to involve an extraordinary amount of deconstruction just to get at the engine. And then there are numerous oil drain plugs to contend with. $21k from a main dealer. Bargain!

WOW. Now that is expensive. I don't suppose the old cheap USA favoured method of sucking it up through the dipstick would work either!
Bentley did tell me at one stage my left headlamp wash was below pressure, probably an o ring. £35 for parts, £450 for labour - grill and bumper with undergrads all off.
But £21k? I'd choke.

That's mad but I'm not surprised I know that they need to keep the car for nearly a month to do the annual...

I read in a HR Owen mag that every service required 12 titanium bolts to be removed and they cannot be reused and they cost £100 each...that’s £1200 before you even start!

Looking at on webpage it quotes tyres at $33,000 every 2,500 miles and wheels $50,000 every 10k

Plus service that's a lot of BMW! Sheesh!

Wheels? WTF happens that you need to replace the wheels?

Mind you what were they new £5m? and even then I believe they were losing money on each one - some pretty fancy parts on the edge of their operating window one would assume hence replacement period

Apparently the TPMS also reports everything back to Bugatti, real time. So they know if you try changing a tyre, or a wheel.
And as the sensors are immovably built into the wheel and aren't for sale - you're in their grasp!

That'll be why you have to replace the wheels, the batteries have gone dead in the TPMS ;)

They all charge what they think they can get away with , when bought in advance 3 years x 3 services on my 5.0 420bhp mustang is £620 parts & vat included at a main Ford dealer.

I don't see how òther manufacturers main dealers costs could be any higher on service items but the veyron is in the very wealthy bracket so even the oil will be 10x the price in a bugatti oil drum

£800k weren’t they? Relative bargain. The exchange rate was far better back then.

Most owners could probably provide their own oil out of one of their wells! That would save a few quid!
