I watched that and couldn't help but think how boring Alfa Romeo has become with that drab line up. The fast Giulia looks interesting, I would pass everything else by without a second glance. The Giulietta and Mito are starting to look quite dated.

With you Mark....I love the fast Guilia and that car with 500 bhp is very appealing and I like the look of the 4C even though it is a flawed car (story of Alfa really) but these are not the models that will bring Alfa back..Alfa need new bread and butter cars and quickly.....The range is not great...

The boggo Guilia doesn't look as bad as I thought it might. They were always playing a dangerous game by showing the best one first since the cheaper versions were never going to look as good. The Guilietta and Mito really are looking old and they need to replace these urgently.

I will be changing my daily car in about a year and it's probably a toss up between a Guilia and an XE. Heart says one and head says the other!

Looks like I am getting an XE as a company car. Rear drive, good looking and the reviews put it above the 3 series..what's not to like. The interior is lovely but not as nice as the 3/4 series I find. BMW still feels better put tether. Waiting for the OK to order and going for th 180 diesel R Sport in Italian Red with 19inch venom alloys and black pack. Black with red inserts inside.

Sounds great - pretty close to what I would be looking at. Look forward to seeing it at Brunty if you've got it by then; perhaps see what it will do down the back straight! ;)

The Guilia looks bland in standard form which will be 95% of sales. Interior looks average and from the side / rear it looks like a 3 series. The Jag has more personality and better trim. Can't see the Guilia taking too many sales from the Ghibli. Have they revealed the 4x4 yet?

As I've heard MAF point out many times - it's easier to ask forgiveness than permission........

Have to say, there is absolutely nothing in the current Alfa range I want.
Considering I've had 6 of them I find it a bit disappointing really.

I am about to cancel the order for the Giulia - no faith in the brand's ability to deliver.

The stories of the engineering problems with crash tests and the fact that the father of the project Phillipe Krief has been moved. Having been born in the 'Skunk Works' it is starting to stink.

I thought the same thing watching that. Even the 4c which I really liked the look of to start with is not exciting me as much as it did.
