4200 Oil sender needed

Hi there have not posted for a while but still about. This problem was diagnosed last year, reluctant to buy a new one at £100 so I have been looking for a secondhand one. David Askew and Greg Smith don't have any. Is there someone else who does cheaper ones..?

Are they quite common to fail? May be a cheap one is a false economy, what others think?

Think they are £75 from Alan at Dick Lovetts, worth a try.

Personally I would not use a used part. I do have one, it came off my engine I bought that had oil pressure issues, you can see they put a new one on there to see if it was that.

Ill keep that one for myself.

I'm about to replace mine as it gives some odd readings occasionally. I would not advise fitting a used one as they are a pain to replace and double pain if you have to do it twice.

I think I will buy a new one, garage want a 100 though. Only money I guess!
