4200 info center no audio or phone.

Hi guys put a new battery on my car and now no radio or telephone working. Everything else fine on the trip computer and heating and ventilation. At the bottom of the screen in the middle it says reset. Can't find anything in handbook as how to do a reset. Do any of you guys know the answer ? Thanks Phil.

Can't find it myself but I recall a hidden programme in the system when I installed Sat Nav on my 4200 info system. By pressing two of the bottom buttons and holding them down for a few moments. I will drop David a line and see if he recalls the two buttons but in the mean time try pressing the two outer ones, then if that does not work the two inner ones.

I take it will not reset by pressing the right hand knob as normal..??

The trip computer works fine and pressing the right button resets that OK. Its the audio and phone I have lost Rob.

Tried it again several times to no avail. Happy listening to my motor its just long journeys on your own when I feel the need for the radio for company.

HAVE YOU TRIED TURNING THE POWER OFF IN THE BOOT AND SEE IF THAT WILL RESET THE SYSTEM..?

Tried that Rob. Its funny when I first got my 4200 I found doing a battery reset on a regular basis but now never. Will give it one more try though you never know.
