3200GTA A/c fan replacement

Good morning All
I am currently having to do the above, can anyone tell me if the a/c unit will split whilst in the car? The fan sits under the air intake on the left and looks as if it should undo from the main unit, but I suspect there will be hidden bolts. Having removed the dash it's still a big job to remove the whole unit.
Any help or advice welcome.

It's the same heater/air con unit as an Alfa 166 if that's any help
