Can anyone tell me if it is difficult to remove the rear shock absorbers on a 3200 as I want to send them to David Askew for a rebuild.

Many thanks

Very easy to remove. All you need are arms that are a cross between Mr Tickle's and Inspector Gadget's, the hands of a child, the dexterity of a surgeon, the strength of the Incredible Hulk and the patience of a saint.

There you go then, no problem. I haven't heard a reference to Mr Tickle in a very long time!!!

In other words there a complete b*stard, especially on the left hand side.. wait till you try to refit the actuator motor retaining clip!

And I was thinking about sending them all away for a refurb, maybe not then...,

Don't be put off, It's just fiddly that's all..

There fairly easy to remove, refitting just takes time and patience. Suppose the top seals have failed.. David gets them rebuilt using the later Ferrari double lip design seal which is a lot more durable.
