3200 door lock removal

Hi Guys,

I am still trying to work out why my window glass doesn't drop fully when the door is opened , but it works OK when the door is open.
I suspect it may be the switch in the door lock and I want to remove the lock to check or replace it.
The door card has been removed and I can see the lock, but it appears to be pretty inaccessible. Do I have to remove the glass to get it out?
Has anyone got any tips on how to get it out, other than plasters and a swear jar?
Also, is the 3200 door lock the same as the 4200?, Eurospares are showing the 3200 as Special Order.

Cheers

Does it move at all when the door is shut? the power source for the windows when the doors are shut is different than when its open, so if it wont move at all when the door is shut then it could be a fuse?

It does move when the door is shut, it drops just enough to clear the roof line. Same amount of movement if opened from the inside ot the outside. Works perfectly if the door is open. Thanks for the tip, I will have a closer look at the electrical diagrams.

Sometimes the windows lose a bit of programming. You can try when the door is open, dropping the window down to the bottom, back up fully, down fully and back up again, the window should settle slightly dropped, then try again from inside the car with the door closed..!!
