3200 Auto For Sale

Evening everyone

I was visiting David Askew today and he has a blue 3200GTA for sale with grey leather. It's a 2000 model and he tells me it has a full Maserati service history. It's covered 86k, was serviced 2k miles ago and had a full year tax & MOT. It has some tacky Maserati stickers on the rear sill section which will hopefully peel off and a MAZ number plate - 6776 from memory.
It looked pretty clean apart from some rust around the rear arches, and has had recent discs. The wheels are in good shape too.

He's only looking for around £6k so if anyone fancies a cheap run around, give him a call.

That sounds like a bargain depending on how widespread the rust is. If it is an 86k manual an end float check might be a good idea. If in order it could be a cheap way into the Maserati fold. Worth investigating, I reckon.

It's an auto Ian.
The arches need to be done but it's rust, not rot so paint is needed but not welding.

Cheap run around Lincs..........surely you're joking us..................a rusty, 12 yr old Maserati 3200......??!!.....and a NI number plate.....;)

The wheel arch rims are suspect on the 32's, we had to have ours stripped out all round, rubber sealed then painted. You have to get inside the rim too, otherwise it starts all over again, looks perfect now. At £6K you could probably get more back in selling the parts..??

Certainly a good back up plan if it starts to go wrong!

Was going to say that as well Frank...Nothing cheap about running around in a Maserati of any age......Deep pockets needed.

That's my point, at £6k, that's a great back up plan. It has a full MOT and was serviced 2,000 miles ago plus David has run it for a little while & has not found anything drastically wrong with it's a better bet than buying privately on ebay for example in my opinion.

Sure is Stuart..David is well respected so if you want a cheap 3200 surely this is the one..
