Guys,
My car is due for the 30k mile service.

My understanding is that the gearbox hydraulics get flushed during this service and while it CAN be done without, it is better done with the SD tool to check all pressure lines and proper functioning, and to check and reset the clutch pis point. Is this true?

If this is the case, does the SD get hooked up “whilst†the gearbox is being flushed etc or is it a case that they would plug it in after the service to check all pressure lines and proper functioning etc. ?

cheers

P,
I found this on one of the links written by a member of ML forum.

He said:

"I have my F1 fluid changed at the annual service each year. Requires a SD2 or SD3 to properly bleed the unit".

Its not the biggest of jobs, it may just be to re-calibrate the unit......as part of the change

I can't see the point of changing the pollen filter on a spyder that has its roof down most of the time!

But Benny, you go too fast for any air to enter the cabin through the roof it just goes straight past, so it's all ram air through the front and through the filter..!!
