Yes, not much moving this time of year...but I would take it if you were giving it away...would even throw my 4200 in for you.

Yes its very quiet at the moment, plus as disscussed on here yesterday, your competing against good 2009 4.7's that are under £50k now.

The problem is that there are over 100 GranTurismos for sale at anyone time on PH, that really does not help, regardless of model variant.

Well done George -I was just about to post that I would quite possibly be contacting you in spring as your car sounded more than a bit like what I'm looking for.

SOLD - After many timewasters , dreamers and jokers !

Result. Time wasters are a fact of life with fancy cars. I remember once sitting in my study with a guy who came to look at my SL500. He agreed that my car was very well priced, was a facelift car when most weren't, it was exactly what he wanted etc etc. So I asked him if he wanted to buy it? He filled all the details in on his spreadsheet of available cars and then took off, saying he would get back to me. That was 2001....bet he is still looking.

I knew there was something wrong with the guy when he produced an A4 file full of adverts and, despite all his data, he didn't know that Mercedes had completely changed the V8 engine in 1997.

I find it strange but that was before the www was big so guys had to indulge by wasting others' time rather than going on the Internet and pretending that they own cars that they don't.

When I sold my XJR recently, they guy had asked a couple of questions, then arranged to collect, he arrived looked the car over, paid the money and drove off smiling. IMPRESSED and that's how it should be..!!
