Thanks for the kind words guys - I am disappointed to be looking to sell, but then again I haven't had any calls so far so maybe I will be keeping it after all !
My sense is that lots of people would only buy a car like this from a dealer/ specialist - rather than privately from me - presumably since they might want a warranty etc. I have been in contact with 2 dealers - who offered me derisory sums for the car - but I remain hopeful that I can sell this privately to an enthusiast.

You have to remember what the dealer margins are for this sort of car and the fact that potential buyers will be aware of that.

With Nuvola selling a newer, 2009 car for £4k more than yours I think that it tells you that retail for yours is about £47k and trade about £40k. You are right about warranties and finance. Perhaps go SOR with a trusted independent or drop it £3k to get interest for a quick sale?

Just a thought, but why not give Dicky at Richard Grace Cars a call, he would sell on SOR for you and maybe offer a warranty etc., could be a move to consider..!!
