It has a 4200 dash as at the time of production the road going GS was not in production.

The GS came from the race track editions with a number of the motorsport upgrades.

As Paul said, this car was a 4200, upgraded to race. It was part of the development of the 4200 into what became the road going GranSport. So some of what you see here (including the dials) materialised soon after when the GS was launched. Think of it as a development step (but on steroids!) between the 4200 and the GS.

Looks like in but you have to be a real Maserati fan/collector to spend 150-200k on it though. **** load of better machines for that money.....track or road. Sure the last one was up for sale around 6 months ago for 70k.

You can't get a proper Tropheo car for £70k - they've been 6 figures for ages. It's towards £70k for a low mileage MCV these days! (You maybe remembering that silver car in SA - its was track prepared GS, but not a proper factory built Tropheo version.)
