2005 4200 Vs 2005 Gransport........is there a near £10k difference??

Thanks, Nick. It's not at all clear, which is why I'm happy to stick with what I've got. Not chasing after some ideal which may, or may not exist :)

I'm focussed on fixing what I have before I wander off into some flights....

DaveT, what did you think of the Gransport front grille (front calendar) vs. the slatted facelift one? Do you have the chrome or black netted GS grille?

I have the chrome grille on the GS which looks really good on a black car IMHO. On a black car the slatted one wouldn't look as good as everything would be dark at the front.

On the facelift I had the slatted grey grille which on the red car I had I thought looked good . Was very happy with that look.

On balance, I'd say most people prefer the chrome grille.

I have a Metallic Blu Meditteraneo facelift 4200 with the GS 19" wheels. I think I could fit either the black or chrome mesh into the front bumper. Thing is, the rear bumper/vents are black mesh already, so might look a bit strange to have a chrome front... inclined to stick with the slated grille.

I bought the GS over the 4200 as it was the car I lusted after, there's no way it's 10k better than a facelift 4200 but then if I was being rational and sensible in a car purchase I wouldn't have bought a Maserati. For someone that doesn't have their heart set on a GS then the 4200 definitely makes more sense but for those that do then anything else you buy will still have you looking in the classifieds

Both great cars though

Exactly Frank,
Its very subjective, "Better" "Step Up" what do they really mean ?

If I said a Nissan GTR was "Quicker, Faster and Better Handling through its electronics" They would all be "quantifiably" True statements.

But would it be a the "Better" car ?

Few on here would say it was, certainly not me.
