I think the price looks ok based on the mileage but despite the miles, it is surely down to the condition and importantly the lack of corrosion that would make this a god or not so good buy.
I like the look of it however & it appear to be well care for

It's literally ten minutes from me. And although a GS is what I want, I've always liked the Ghibli.

I won't buy it. Might have a look though. One of these will be on the radar when I've a double garage.

Looks lovely Geoff....Like you...love the Ghibli...It was the car that made me want a Maserati. Always liked the Bi Turbo Spyder but then this came along and it was all I wanted.

The Cup had amazing reviews compared to the standard car. Used to so look forward to Performance Car and then EVO dropping through he door to read Harry's long term test on the Ghibli Cup....He changed the seats in his as they weren't supportive.

A little over-hyped in my opinion, a Cup is not vastly different to an Italian market 2.0 GT which has similar power (306bhp compared to the Cup's 330bhp). A Cup has a huge premium for some different wheels, springs & a few trim differences, yes it has roller bearing turbos etc but they're not significantly faster or better to drive than a 2.0 GT.

That black car was one of the early press cars and featured in a few magazines when it was new. I believe its quite a nice one despite the mileage and has had a lot of money spent on it. High miles is not really an issue as the engines are very strong. The price will always be cause for debate as there are so few RHD Ghiblis around so not many available for comparison. Perhaps £10k is not so bad if the body is ok, I believe this is the car that sold at Brightwells last year for something like £6.5k, well bought at that price.

Well said, the springs were £100 for the set at the last time of looking and made by Eibach anyway. I have a power graph of both the cup and 2.8 on the same page, which makes for interesting viewing too.
