Although this deal is now finished, I wish I had bought one years ago!
Wife's car is black, enough said, dries perfect!
Even washing my Stag, with lots of trim, chrome bumpers, polished wheels, lots of difficult areas to dry, all dry spot free!
:)

Abit of a thread revival, but does anyone know the difference in the resins, and the best one to use? I have a large Race Glaze filter that needs new resin

Might need regeneration, but it doesn't really need replacing. Unless you want to spend no time and a bit of cash.

Yes, I saw the link for regeneration. How many times can this be done?
Has anyone done the regen, and can offer any tips or suggestions?

You can do it virtually indefinitely. Never done but Navcorr is a past master I'm given to understand

Basically pour 1-2 pints of salt into it, and then rinse it through, sounds simples. Il drop Navcorr a message

So how long do these actually last before needing to re-gen or replace ?
Living in a hard water area and having my first black car in 10 years and my wife's a dark gunmetal, one of these is tempting as I know its gonna be a nightmare when the sun comes out.
It just feels like a lot of money, just to make drying the car a bit easier lol.
Are they THAT good that when I get one I will always use it, wish I'd done it years ago and think it was well worth the money......or is it gonna end up like my snowfoam lance and it'll end up coming out a few times a year because I'm not convinced it actually makes much difference.

as per link C provided, I use a TDS and when it shows ~50ppm I replaced the resin - in terms how long the resin lasts depends on your water hardness, how many time you use it and how you store it (I found best stored empty and in dry place (not cold)). only real way to check is either with TDS or when you are getting water spots.

I think the resin is about £100 for 25l and may do about 4 fills. I got a replacement vessel about 18 months ago and only re-filled once (I'm not using all year around)

Yes they are good but I don't use it all the time, same as foam lance, its a tool and use it for what its for. you don't need to foam a car all the time, like a dusty car would only need a hose down and a clean. A dirty car would need to be foamed.
Same with the water vessel, if its warm/hot or delicate paint or its going to get another layer of wax then I would use it, all other time I may not (if its a customers car I use it).
