a few lights! you mean all the ones that count, no brakes and ECU on. and rust. mmm... i would try to sell it too. Parts maybe? however given the obvious neglect will any of the parts be any good, needs rear cam chains at that mileage and will no doubt need a cam belt, tyres. Probably got throttle body issues, and ASR could be rotary wheel sensors at that age and mileage? Bag of trouble there, probably cost twice the purchase price to put it right just in parts alone. would cost a lot to get a porper garage to fix all that, so yes its a DIY only and yes a bucket of cash.

Davy, the engine appears to be off in that photo, so the brakes might be the only ones to worry about :)

a real shame that someone has let this get this bad but agree that the money needed to fix would count out a garage job, home fix only for someone dedicated.

It may need the same amount of money spending on it again especially with the NO ASR and CEL on. Bodywork seen better days too. Shame as it is dogs like this which bring the price of our good ones down.

I wouldn't be surprised to see this one in David Askew's yard in the near future being broken for spares, it may be the seller's best option sadly
