My costs over two Granturismos and 8 years is much close to £2000pa including but managed to only go through 1 wheel bearing and never had to replace a clutch, both of which can catch you unawares. dash-cam: worth it?

One of the accidents caught by my dash cam did not go through insurance but the estimate increased by £1,500 due to unseen damage once they started the repair. Thankfully I had made sure the chap who agreed to pay was the “instructing client” for the garage so there were no arguments over who...

Fingers crossed that the injury to the mechanic is not too serious and that they managed to save the cars. Terrible to see, as even with insurance this will have a devastating impact on their business.

    PPF - Ghibli II

My Strad had PPF from almost new (2014) and I removed it (apart from front bumper) this year. It came off relatively easily (just some sticky marks that were stubborn) but absolutely no damage to clear coat or paint even though it was there for 10 years.

    PPF - Ghibli II

I would be more worried about applying it to repainted cars, personally I wouldn’t apply it to anything other than factory paint.
