I actually think the 4.0 V8 is the best option. Much preferred my 400 to the 500 and 450 Supercharged. You can rev it out and enjoy it fully with it only half wanting to kill you.

Just another example of price inflation and profiteering really. Captive market and no competition or alternative so easy for govt to just increase taxes and the peasants will pay. Taxes are increasing but services are reducing. You wouldn't be able to get away with that as a private business...

One of my old TVR's had a simple hidden little key you need to insert and turn 90 degrees that disconnected or connected power to the fuel pump. Simple but effective.

You have AV Engineering in Ashford that are always recommended. I've used them many times and they have always been excellent. Not sure if they are taking on any Maserati work currently but certainly worth a call.

Thanks but looking for an unsilenced x-pipe ideally. I have a pair of straight through rear pipes in the garage from my previous 4200 but wanted something a little in-between EV silence and ASBO levels.
