I would love one. I bought the Audi as a bit of a stop gap. Got it for £130k - 1 month old and 200 miles only on the clock. Listed at £153k I think. My dream car would be a Ferrari - I have never owned one.

I would def take a 458 over an R8 of course! I don't need to drive my car daily so the Ferrari would be a viable option. But quite a different price bracket when you compare like to like. Price up a new 488 for example and compare it - prob will cost in the region of £220k.

At the Audi list price there isn't a huge amount of Supercar choice. You have to move up to £200k to get some proper kit and similar performance. I don't think the comparison is wholly fair. Do you think the average punter could tell the difference between a £100+k new GTS and the ones on...
