That again was my issue with the 4200. Plug in electronics. Routine stuff wasn’t an issue but 400 mile round trip was a pain. Kept the biturbo Spyder and got a DB9. Sorry!! :-)

Lack of mechanic in striking distance in Highlands was why I got rid of the 4200. I had used Phil Kyle in Edinburgh but he seemed to pack in servicing and was doing car storage instead. Not sure if that has changed.

Really not a problem these days. 20 years ago there were issues with restricted hours and closed on a Sunday etc.

Saw it in Glasgow just after Xmas. 1st time in cinema in years so booked VIP screen so unlimited food and non alcoholic drink and then a large electric recliner chair and nibbles and drinks during the film. Enjoyed the film and non petrolhead partner did as well. Cars looked and sounded fantastic

I didn’t think I would like the car but seeing it in the flesh when Greg had it changed my mind. Photos don’t do it justice.

My issue seems to be when it not fully up to temperature. Starts ok from cold or fully hot but will sometimes die on lift off and reluctant to start when partially warm. Perhaps a different issue?

Great meeting up with folks yesterday. Left just before 3 as a 3-4 hour journey home. Gremlins on way down decided to not come out to play on way home and biggest decision was hood up or down on way back. :-) Thanks to AROC for organising.

Last time I was there the F car owners club were there with gazebo etc and a plastic chain link fence around all the stand to ensure riffraff like wot we are couldn’t get anywhere near them so you could add that to the list? :-)

Hi Greg, We are staying in Holiday Inn Express in Perth on the Saturday night. “Free” breakfast is too tempting to pass by. Lol Can meet up wherever is easiest. Think you have my mobile no etc.

Car sailed through MOT with no issues. Usually at least one bulb has blown Tickets bought so all looking good.

I am a “maybe” Greg for Hopetoun. Been twice in the past but on 2 wheels. Picked up bike of the show prize one year! Lol There were good turnouts of 4 and 2 wheels and Maserati were well represented.
