    2019 Ghibli Gransport Diesel ULEZ?

Do you have to go through HR Owen? When I obtained a CoC for my Alfa (which I bought new in Belgium and had to import) I contacted Alfa Spa in Italy. Back then they supplied it for no charge. I think it is outrageous that anyone, manufacturer or importer, would charge for it. It is essentially...

    QPV FAQ (probably)

Thanks Richard. For those new to the forum, Richard supplied mine in 2012, after a long search, and in common with all his carefully curated stock, it has been a good 'un. Nothing has gone wrong with it apart from one coil pack giving up the ghost.

    QPV FAQ (probably)

Haha, I can beat that. I bought mine fully intending to keep it a year or so, just to scratch the itch. It's eleven years and counting now. I just can't think of another car to replace it with which would do what it does.

It takes plenty of wine and tins of duck (and that's a picnic table at the bottom).

    QPV FAQ (probably)

11 years ownership and counting. I could be tempting fate here: but if you count wheel bearings as consumables (I've replaced two over the years), the only failure I've experienced on mine is one coil pack. Every service I ask them to check the sub-frame carefully and it is rock solid. They...

Help please ! - QPV Dead battery and alarm going off

Are you sure? That is how I always locked my Alfas on ferries - for that same reason - but I distinctly remember returning to the QP on the ferry deck, having locked it at the door only, and the alarm told me their had been an intrusion attempt. It caused me to dig out the owner's manual...

    Brexit Deal

Luckily the Scottish government sought clarification for you, and following last week's ECJ ruling we now know that the UK has the power to unilaterally withdraw Art 50 notification any time before midnight 29th March and it gets to keep the status quo.

This is what's misunderstood about FoM. It's not just the right to move to France and become resident there, but also to drive to Spain to do a short contract there. There are many Brits living in small countries like Luxembourg and Belgium - who currently travel all over Europe with their work...

    Brexit Deal

To further complicate things there are actually more British living in Ireland, than Irish living in Britain - when you look at it in percentage terms. So anything which hurts the CTA will hurt a greater number of Irish living in Britain but will also hurt a higher percentage of British living...

    Brexit Deal

That is no longer the case. YouGov (one of the respected pollsters) poll this morning is 62% Remain, 38% Leave. If it was still hovering around the 50:50, I might agree with you (I would still argue the lies, illegal activity and foreign interference should void the 23rd June result, and a...

She got 63% of the vote, which my maths tells me is more than 52%. And, it must be remember, ALL tory MPs voted, a much higher turnout than the referendum.

You could say that about Theresa May's leadership. Her election actually happened after the 2016 referendum. Should we respect that result?

    Brexit Deal

There was no doubt about what the UK and Ireland joined in 1973. This is from the first page of the Treaty of Rome, which was in existence before both the UK and Ireland joined. Heath even sent information to every household in the UK explaining this...

    Brexit Deal

I've always thought her plan is to stumble out the door on the 29th March in any fashion possible; just getting out that door is her ultimate goal. All the rest can be sorted out later. Pretty much everything she has done for the last two years has been an exercise in running the clock down.

I've been three times. I love it. The last time I forwent the transfer bus and rented a car from the airport, it made it much more fun as you are free to do your own thing. There is a great ice circuit kart track near to Kittila. Enjoy.

    Brexit Deal

That's actually an incorrect interpretation. The ECJ sided with the petitioners both *against* the European Council, the Commission and *against* HMG. Far from being a politically motivated ruling, it shows the Court's independence.
