An SL65/73 or a CL63?

A 390-400 hp car is expected to be stiff. Sometime we need to find out what those 400 hp look and feel like, so a stiff suspension is a must. You cannot ask for a fast car to be riding like a limo. Even limos with high HP and soft suspension are a nightmare to drive let's say under curvy roads...

I think it has a skyhook cancelling error, in order not to receive CE, but let us Karl clear this.

I think it's the 19" wheels, not the suspension itself. When i drive on a smooth and curvy road, i wish the suspension was even stiffer.

Yes, the manual on the 350 was until 2006, aka pre facelift. But yet with the amg pack, including the floating brakes is beautiful. Facelift model on the other harm has more charm and 30+ hp more. But only auto.

prefer the "K" on modern cars..but i do like an had a couple of 107s. If i end up buying one, i will consider making a 55 manual. But i believe it will be a very difficult effort. The manual from the clk55, for example is the old 5speed. Plus electronics, plus ecu, plus engine bay limitations...

Been there but feedback was average. Some said that it is fast enough, some others say it's a MB. Really confused on this. I think i am going to start test driving all of them :)

You can ask Jay Em, surely he knows about cars.... Always liked the manual V12 vantage, if that's of your taste. Other than that a 599 could be another option, but from what i understand the latter would be too sporty for you.
