I’ve spoken to Koen and handed him an olive branch. KB accepts his issues and I’ve iffered to help sort it with him.

Whilst we formulate a plan can I ask that no more negatives are posted during this period.

It seemed the adult thing to do.

Matt - I don’t believe I’ve ever met anyone as diplomatic as you are. Please can you try and sort out all this bloody Brexit EU mess? A grown-up is needed.

Matt for PM! / Brexit secretary! / Foreign secretary! etc.

So people who con people knowing it is immoral, wrong, un-reasonable or spiteful don't exist?

That's not what I said. I invite you to show one single person that did something that they thought was un-reasonable at the time they did it. I'm very sure that you never have. You might, however, have decided afterwards (or maybe even during) that it was un-reasonable and regretted the, or maybe even stopped.

Feel free to tell me that you *have* done something that you said to yourself 'Yes, that's really not a reasonable course of action, but I'm going to do it anyway'

I won't have done as I don't work like that but you said "people don't do things they think are un-reasonable" which is utter BS.

Thanks for sharing the depth of your insight :)

BTW you're confusing or conflating, (I think) 'immoral', 'wrong' and 'spiteful' with 'un-reasonable.'

I could well be wrong :)

Yes thanks for telling me what i'm confusing, I only studied Psychology for a few years and still continue to read papers.

I regularly come across unreasonable people. They know that their requests are unreasonable, but they are happy to try it on in any case. Some people are like that, some are not.
Exactly, I meet them all the time at work, in everyday situations, people are un-reasonable on a daily basis and continue to "try it on" despite knowing full well they are being un-reasonable. Like a boss asking someone to work another weekend after someone has worked a double shift already that week or three evenings etc... Still an example of someone being un-reasonable yet knowing full well they they are being that way.

I'm just hoping Catman is being obstinate here to prove a point :D

No, actually. And I disagree with your example. The boss may well be being unreasonable, but I really really doubt he thinks he has any options. He will be rationalising it. "It's not my fault" "There's nothing I can do" and so on. But I certainly don't want to fall out so happy to let it drop.

But what you're describing is not somebody thinking he is acting reasonably, but somebody justifying an unreasonable behaviour. These are two very different things in my book.
