Removal of Gransport carbon centre console

Can confirm access is gained by removing the vent sleeves. I wasn't able to do this without breaking some plastic tabs though, I think they are meant to go in once. I look forward to the future rattles when I have it all back together!

Removal of Gransport carbon centre console

Amazing, thanks Zep. So I've got to get that ******* coin tray liner out. I am attempting to get rid of my last bits of tech cloth (other than the headlining) so destroying that will not upset me.

Removal of Gransport carbon centre console

Anyone know how to get this out? What about the T-Bar thing? I don't want to break anything. From the workshop manual for the 4200 it looks like there might be securing bolts under the vents for the rear passengers. I've pulled out the vents but maybe it needs the plastic outer housing removing?

    Changing F1 fluid

mystery solved. It is on the LHS of the car just forward of where the driveshaft connects. You need a deep offset 11mm to get onto it.

    Changing F1 fluid

I sucked all the fluid out of the resevoir and filled it to the top with fresh, I think that should work pretty well. From the videos I've seen online, not that much comes out from the standard bleed procedure.

    Changing F1 fluid

Does anyone have a good guide for this? We have some old threads but all the pictures are gone. What I really want is a clear picture of where the bleed nipple is which I think is on the clutch bell housing. I am working without a lift so haven't got amazing view to try and find it. I have the...

    Jay Emm’s Gransport

Search on here for KW V3. I paid about 2100 for my set but that was on sale, and pre-covid pricing. I think they are made to order. Plus whatever for fitting, probably a few hundred at least, and then you need full alignment and setup, maybe a couple of sessions.

    Jay Emm’s Gransport

I liked the video, but agree with others, that while they do have class-leading space in the back, it's not even as convenient as a small 5-door hatch for hauling people around, so its obviously not going to be good for that in regular use. Pretty sure the car is lower than stock as well, so...

Giallo Grantourismo Gransport (The Banana) SOLD

GS may in fact be the last car sold with a traditional manual odometer to go along with that analogue speedo. Great car, GLWS. Echo the other comments on the value, nothing comes close to the GS for exotic car value at the moment.

    Matrix Matters.

I did it without taking the steering wheel out but I broke a few bits and it definitely risks damaging the dash.

Maserati 4200/Gransport values - will they ever change?

It might take our cars to make it to the 30 year mark before they start rising. Look at the traditionally unwanted Ferraris, I think 400s are achingly cool and they have probably doubled (at least) in the last 5 years. I only paid £16k for my GS in 2015 and it is probably worth that now so...

    Help appreciated - code 1211 abs/msr

Since this is one of the best 'rear wheel bearing' threads, I thought I would update with my experience. I had exactly this code and these symptoms, and use my X431 Launch to determine it was the right rear bearing. I bought a new one from Superformance for the usual huge cost. WARNING - this...

    Rear wheel bearing - advice

For completeness - yes you have to drop the subframe, and take the whole axle out.

    Control Arm MOT Fail.

Sorry to resurrect thread but is there any source for 196779 at a sensible price? Got mine off to replace the hub and the boot has had it, surely MOT fail anyway.
